From chipr@niestu.com:
Cute concept, fairly good use of halo effects. The only jarring note was the
very weird-looking floor.

Those floor tiles look like you could turn an ankle on them too easy, but I
really
like the texture you gave them.

Reminds me of a friend of mine who checked to make sure the gas was off with a
match.

From amarok@geocities.com:
+ Cool idea. The ropes are neat.
- The explosion is "clipped" by the ceiling. The floor tiles are very large.

Nice try. I like the concept

You captured a dynamic feel, nicely done.

The fire halos look great

From klynn@minn.net:

Cool flame & cables.
The floor tiles seem strange, though. Almost as big as the door?

You meen blowing the lab up is NOT part of the course?

From quinet@gamers.org:
Excellent idea, and great fun. Suggestions for improvement: try to stretch
some
of the flames (glowing halos) in such a way that they appear to come from a
central point behind the door. Some of them can be left in a "cloud" shape,
but
the explosion would be more impressive if most flames are stretched along a
radius. Also, it would be better to show at least a part of the inside of the
room, or at least the door frame, so that you see where the door comes from.
Using a brick texture or some texture from "stones.inc" on the walls would also
improve the picture a lot.

I almost made a similar image. Great minds think alike I guess. Obviously, I
liked the
concept for this image. :)
