TITLE: Brain activity NAME: Bjorn Emil Bech-Sonderby (15 years old) COUNTRY: Denmark EMAIL: sebem@post5.tele.dk WEBPAGE: none TOPIC: Mathematics & Physics COPYRIGHT: I SUBMIT TO THE STANDARD RAYTRACING COMPETITION COPYRIGHT. JPGFILE: brain.jpg RENDERER USED: Visual Reality 2.0 TOOLS USED: Corel Photo Paint RENDER TIME: About 40 minutes HARDWARE USED: 486/100 MHz with 3.5 Gbyte hard disk and 24 MByte memory IMAGE DESCRIPTION: A man (in the mittle of the picture) is being scanned by X-rays. His brain activity is measured by a machine (computer with the blue blackground). He is rather active and thinks about or invent? a catapult, a train, atomic theory, a magnet, Benjamin Franklin's dragon, an abacus, Newton's apple, a cannon, the earth and a Ariane-like rocket (strangely with a NASA logo on). DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: A sketch of the image was drawn by hand. Then everything else was made using the computer. The Corel Photo Paint was used for making some of the textures. The only texture used from Visual Reality is the Three texture on the catapult, the abacus and the cannon.
