DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


As an exercise in CSG, I created the central object using
an extruded font characters rotated into place.
Some nudging was necessary to properly align the characters.

Each object is projected onto a textured/colored plane with a spotlight
along each axis to give a visual effect of the work of each person.
