  The famous hero Spacedog has landed on a distant planet to fight against
the powerful and evil sorcerer who is oppressing the people.
  Can technology defeat magic?


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


  The mountain formation on the background is a height field (a plasma).
  The sorcerer is made of bezier patches with Moray (the only thing I made
with Moray). The sorcerer's hand is a blob object made with blob sculptor.
  The energy ball, the fire and the steam below the ship are halos. Specially
the fire halo was somewhat difficult. The electric sparkle around the energy
ball is simply a sphere with gradient texture and some turbulence.
  The ship and the spacedog are made completely by hand. The cables of the
ship are made with torpatch.
