===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: VERY nice! Liked this scene a lot. ===== From bill.marrs@pureatria.com: Nicely done scene and objects, but the camera angle is poor (too much balcony, I want to see more the that statue) ===== From jgoeson@msn.com: Very good picture, and happy birthday! ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Nice lighting, but a bit empty museum... ===== From lowellr@globaldialog.com: Happy birthday - Nice picture A couple of wall hanging top floor might have helped ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Superb modelling and lighting. Clever concept on the checkered floor. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Well, this looks full of promisses! Your lighting, however, is a bit yellow, but this may be what you wanted. And your floor is so reflexive it looks like a swimming pool ;-) Anyway, nice pic... happy birthday! ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: I'm amazed that a rendering with 60 light sources took only 7 hours on a machine with that little RAM. How did you do that? ===== From i_emackay@mountains.net.au: Not Bad. Look again at lighting and the composition of the picture. Big area of carpet on right detracts. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Beautiful! I love the lighting. Maybe it would have been more interesting with something more on the walls, but that's just a minor thing. Good work, and happy birthday! ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: Interesting image. Would have loved it more if you could have added more detail to it. It has the feel of an empty building with one item left behind after the move. That, or as my wife described her impressions to me, "All dressed up with no place to go." :{) ===== From msfl.bf@fasonet.bf: You did good. Happy Birthday ;) ===== From ptdawson@voicenet.com: Nice scene. Happy Birthday! ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: With all of the shadows, the floor, on the upper lever, looks like a bumpy carpet. Try using some area lights to soften the shadows. With 160 light sources this will greatly increase the rendering time, so the number of lights, out of view, may have to be reduced. The statue is good. I like the candle light and choice of colors, a very relaxing image for me. Keep up the good work. ===== From web_user@flex058.dijkgraaf.wau.nl: Nice composition, good perspective and use of the diagonal lines of the railings. The emptiness is a bit strange though, you could have done more with the gallery. Although the statue and its texture look perfect and very realistic, you could have given it a different color/texture than the overal tone of the walls and the gallery, so that it would stand out more from the scene.
