COUNTRY: The United States of America WEBPAGE: someday, when i have nothing else to do, i;ll make another web page with which to suck more bandwidth.... RENDERER USED: POV-Ray 3.02 TOOLS USED: PovSB, Sonya Roberts' Trees.inc, PSP 4 RENDER TIME: 2hr 18min 08 sec HARDWARE USED: Pentium II 266mhz IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Remember playing with model rockets when you were a kid? hours upon hours of entertainment building and launching them. unfotuatly, mine always seemed to have some sort of built in homing system that guided them towards the nearest big tress...oh well. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: All the modeling was done with PovSB, ehh..., the imagemaps on the soda can and the rocket were done in psp... i really have no idea why, but some of the wood textures on the fence post went beserk when i turned the focal blur on, so, oh well. i really couldn't find anyway around this.. has ne1 had similar situations? The launch pad thingy was based on somehtin i found in by basement..the rocked, became sort of a hybrid of a Pheonix and a Mavrick missle... the ground is just a tightly scaled DMFWood1, wiht a Bumps normal... The grass, rocks, and fallen leaves were placed randomly and rotated randomly through various axies..the grass blades were just deformed spheres, which almost look too prickley, but oh well... i think thats it. whatever. -karl
