Many of the images were a little impersonal, lacking in "story quality". I attribute that to the subject. No Eiffel Tower? No Taj Mahal? Surprising. Many images needed something to establish scale and set off the subject. I can't help becoming more critical the closer they get--some are sooooo close, just a nudge would put them over the edge into greatness. Excellent effort by all entrants. Sorry for the poor turnout this time, but it did make voting easier.
