===== From roth@ens.ascom.ch: good modelling, exept for the light bulbs. Unfortunately atmosphere lacks ===== From djconnel@flash.net: The cathedral setting is nicely staged, the viewpoint interesting, and the figure a nice addition. However, the topicality is weak (no engineering aspects are stressed), and the lighting and texturing could use some extra work. ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: The banners are great. The nave end seems a bit bland, but otherwise, it is a great image. ===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: Gorgeous work, it puts me very much in mind of the Cathedral in Macauley's book. Great job on the modelling of the vaulted ceiling and stonework of the windows. The reddish colour of the pews is maybe a bit intense. ===== From kaustin@tgn.net: Looking at how the man turned out, I think you could have achieved a similar level of appearance without the 6000 objects from Poser. The light coming through the windows has a nice late-afternoon feel on the opposing wall, but the light within the nave itself is too overpowering and sterile. Though not much of the front/middle can be seen, it feels as though the corner of an altar should be visible. ===== From chipr@niestu.com: Very nice modeling and composition. Some floor-level detail would be nice, as would some atmosphere. Overall very nice. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: The human figure adds to the great sense of scale. Floors are glaringly bright. Too bad the image isn't 600x800, I'd like to see more to the right. ===== From karl@pemail.net: You need some more variation in the textures to help bring out the detail. At the moment it looks like too much like concrete. I'm not sure if it was based on any specfic cathedral but it certainly reminds me of Salisbury Cathedral in England. ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: The architecture is quite well done. I would have liked to see more detail in the textures. Most especially the texture of the stone. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: oops... an inverted gothic vault! Nice windows. Textures and colours are a bit flat. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Very well done but the overall impression is of unrealistic perfection. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: The walls look a bit too bumpy, normally the stone used for cathedrals was very rough, but quite flat at a more macroscopic level. If the three bulps in the foreground are really meant to be lamps, they should be about the brightest spot of the image. ===== From lpurple@netcom.com: The cathedral is very well modelled and list (esp. the pennants). The little poser guy might have fit in better if he wore priest's robes. ===== From r@dial-up11.webbernet.net>: I like the banners, the vaulted ceiling and the fancy stonework . The wall texture needs more detail.
