===== From roth@ens.ascom.ch: by far the best sky I've ever seen. Got to have at the source. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: An interesting shot -- the sky and the viewpoint create a nice effect in what is otherwise a rather sterile environment. One small weakness is there are no engineering aspects featured here.... ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: ??? What is the Great Engineering feat here? The buildings or the mazes cities make? ===== From kaustin@tgn.net: The buildings are in serious need of some kind of texture, their surfaces are extremely flat. The mirrored windows appear to be more holes than windows, as the mirror is too far back and does not add any type of distortion. The image feels dead and empty. Further, the engineering achievement of the image isn't completely apparent (though, the building construction is obviously what was intended) ===== From chipr@niestu.com: Skyscrapers are very good; nice soft-edged shadows. The sky was too obviously an image map. Good concept. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: The direction of the light on the buildings and the clouds does not match. Good dramatic viewpoint and mood. ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: Some explanation of how this image fits into the theme would have been great. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Very attractive image. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: I don't get it what you've done to the windows. The building to the right looks like totally hollow and empty. What do you mean by "One big spot ... to pick up ... sunlight"? ===== From lpurple@netcom.com: The brooding violet sky is great; but the buildings could use a little more 3d detail. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: Good way to do the reflections. ===== From r@cust169.webbernet.net>: Nice looming feeling. With no visible ground for contrast, buildings may be a little *too* regular and impersonal, thereby losing some impact. ===== From r@sharry.demon.co.uk: Notable for originality, composition
