A stunning scene!  This is definitely poster-grade stuff.  However, while
the pyramids are clearly an appropriate subject, their presentation doesn't
stress their engineering achievement, nor are they really the
focus of the shot (they are rendered basically as shadows).  The sane is very
nicely done, however... a nice use of texture.

Needless to say, the desert sunset (rise?) is stunningly done.  The camera
flare is a very nice touch.

This image would have gotten higher ratings if more work had been done on
the construction of the setting, specifically the pyramids and the bases
that they are placed on... for example, a while loop with random placement
of the layers of stone with bumpy ancient blocks notched and dimpled by
the raveges of time.  The lighting was chosen because there is little or
no detail in this image to show off.  POV does a great job of making a
pretty picture... the artist is responsible for adding the detail that
makes it hard to discern between a picture and real-life.

A fairly obvious concept, but you did it incredibly well. The lighting/lens 
flare and the sand texture turned out great. The footprints aren't obvious
until pointed out.

I would have liked to have seen the image without the lens flare, or with a
bit less intensive lens flare. Unless, of course, the lens flare is hiding
some lack of detail in the pyramids. :{)
