===== From spanky@wpi.edu: I would have given you more points if those horses were your own. ===== From d97ta@efd.lth.se: looks very bryce... stay away from the 'standard' textures :) the horse texture is too bumpy, it looks more like withered statue than living flesh. eyes (of which i see none in your image) really help to an image life. ===== From buck@cs.byu.edu: I like the mountain and the trees alot. The sky is really good, too. The horses look rather "statuesque", however, and the ground seems pretty plain. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: This isn't bad for Bryce... still, you need to improve the texture of the mountain (the strata are too regular) and should render in 800x600. I have never gotten good results from Bryce, and the best images I've seen are done in POVRay. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Nice artistic image. Looking down on a subject has a tendency to make it look small and toy like. A lower camera position may have improved the realism. ===== From fisher2@pobox.upenn.edu: I took some points off of the artistic score since the image was rendered smaller than the optimum 800x600 and I find the lack of eyes on the horses kind of distracting. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: I cannot understand the composition -- why would you hide the colt behind the mother? Turn both of them 90-degrees, and the image would be far better. Striations in the rock texture seems too regular, not convoluted enough. Nice trees. Nice textures, particularly on the sandy ground. Nice soft morning lighting.
