IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

A nighttime view of a quiet river, somewhere in an
obscure rainforest. Two reptile-like creatures sleeping
on the river bank, guarding their eggs against possible
predators. An unsuspecting explorer stumbles upon this
scene...


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

Plants and trees were modelled after real-life plants.
Textures made with photoshop, reptails made according to
a photograph of an alligator tail. The scene is completely
made up of freeform meshes as I wanted to experiment with 
them. Supersampling set on 3x3 and use of fog to simulate
a more intimate picture.
