DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

original picture is 1800x2270 that's why it took so long!
facing three problems:
        *) LW obj format allows only 2^16 points, which gets really anoying
           if you got detailed trees and grass in a scene.
        *) linked to the above: 400000+ points; 200000+ polys; acouple of
           megs for images, lights, surfaces,...; adds up to way more than
           64mg --> rendering while working the swap file really sucks.
        *) steamer's a really slooooow brother. skytracer is even worse.
           don't even think of big scale test renders.
steamer fog looks really bad close to the horizon unless you reduce clipping
( 500 in this case ) plus raise dissolve a LOT.
the trees are done by rail cloning a one poly leave along a curve of random
points cut into tree shape. the wooden part is handmade.
fiber factory works really great for grass.
