High marks for interpretation of theme.  A truly unique and creative idea that 
needs to be executed better.  I would love to see this redone with better 
modelling and scenery.  Even if you have to use someone elses models for the 
figures or clothing I think it would be worth it.  Your figures made me think
of a four-sided chess set, one side for each element.

Another creative spin on the topic. I like the clothing, it seems about the right fit for gaseous beings.  A couple of improvements would be better lighting and textures on the background objects.

However, you might try giving more attention to the
texture and modeling of the surroundings.  Take a look
at how some of the really top entries in this and previous
round do things.
