HARDWARE USED: Pentium-II 233Mz 96Mb IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Dragonfly siting on the thin reed, that grows from the water DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: I've just played with ray-tracing and tried to make realistic-looking ripples using bump maps. This is one of my succesful attempts. Water is just flat surface. Thin reeds are simple cylindres. Since I've needed more complex reflections, rather single thein reed, so added dragonfly, that was imported from 3DS file. Pebble, that you can see underwater is just a textured flat surface.
