 great picture except for one major detractor: the water pouring down into the
lower fountain looks more like cloth than it does water. the rock wall texture is
great and so is the water filling up the floor.

picture doesn't really work - the point is surely not the water
but the ray of red light, which is not explained by the rest of
the picture. textures are a bit boring and featureless.
composition could be better - don't put the focal point in the
middle.

Strange, the water that I have seen has always been refractive and very clear,
especially if in a fountain. I am also wondering how the scene is lit, There
are no shadows or something to help judge distance and orientation of things.

I wish there was some familiar object in the scene to give it a sense of scale.  Is the fountain quite large, or just sitting on a tabletop?
