While exploring heightfields with Leveller I made a glass roof element. Putting some roof elements together triggerd the pool idea. The pool itself is made with Leveller. The water is an adaptation of the water by Jon S. Brandt. The props are made in POV (table, stools and benches) and, again, with Leveller (the airbed, a union of two heigthfields). Looking at the scene, I needed some green and red. This is how the dragon came in. It's done in sPatch. Next, publish it. No not the irtc, not ready for that with only about two and a halve months playing with raytracing. So I put it up to povray.binaries.images. First reaction: have you thought about the irtc... OK, so here it is (thanks Ken). The other reaction: do something about the (empty)sky. I've been working on that, clouds in, clouds out, moutains in, moutains out, flock of birds in, flock of birds ...... Aaarrghhh. Clean sky! Everything else changes the atmosphere of the picture. The feeling, "flying with the pool" is gone. Also the contrast between the dragon and the almost sterile pool gets less strong. I hope you enjoy watching it as mutch as I did making it. ingo
