Well done. Good use of depth of field.

From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com:
Great use of focal blur! And where can I get one of those figures?

=====
From caleb@chemeng.uct.ac.za:
Very nice, well done. Maybe a bit too much focus blur ?

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Lots of drama, simplicity, emotion here. Excellent modelling. Good use of
focal blur.
My only complaints: no caps on the markers, and one Rotring seems precariously
balanced on some pencils.

This was probably my favorite of the entries. I think the concept is
exceedingly cool and on top of that it was really well done. Very realistic.
I'm highly impressed.

Hmmm... the position of that pose looks as though it
could get him arrested :).

Nicely done! I would have moved some of the markers
into the background... they
are a bit distracting all placed in the foreground,
especially since they dominate
the color of the scene.

The models are very nice -- they almost demand to be
animated :).
Also, I really like the use of the wood texture.

Beautiful picture, well done.

From dnash@umich.edu:
Wow. This is easily one of my two or three favorite images this round. The
wooden mannequins are superb, and I like the sense of depth that the focal
blur creates.

Dare we say Gallic Humour? Nice image.

From blaineholmes@hotmail.com:
I like the focal blur. Very bright scene. I like it.

From wozzeck@club-internet.fr:
Belle idee, simple et bien realisee. Par contre les parametres de profondeur de
champ sont encore trop faibles:
je trouve qu'il faut etre beaucoup plus contraignants en echantillonnage et
seuils que dans les exemples de la doc.
Eclairages un rien surexposes.

From clem@dhol.com:
A very good simple image. The focal blur in the
foreground doesn't work for me. Rather than enhance
focus, I find it distracting. The blur in the background
isn't so bad, but I find it frustrating. That painting on the
wall looks quite interesting, and I would like to see it
clearly!

From jaime@ctav.es:
Impressive realism. Mastering blur, superb texturing and coloring, apparently
simple but very accurate modelling. The idea is not typical (see, not very
on-topic), but beatiful and interesting. And the light, nicely exccesive, is
the touch...

From arcana@sinbad.net:
The background seems a bit stark. From my experience of artists, their
workspace tends to be cluttered and full of half finished projects. Also,
am I right in thinking that the kneeling figure's left kneecap is partially
imbedded in the table's surface? BTW, great image. :{)

From r@digital140.ism.com.br:
the idea is incredible, needs some retouch , maybe in the table irself ...
Notable for originality, composition

If all the humans you model look like wooden dummies, then.. :-) Seriously, it's
a great image in its simplicity, though the background might need some detail.
