IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

     First encounter...the topic is in the same time easy and difficult.A lot of
things are possible like allegoric encounter or metaphoric but I decided to
make the first encounter between the white king with the dark queen on a
chessboard.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 
    First, I wanted a dark sky very
dramatic, so I have made my sky in bryce and imported it in MAX as background.
Then I used POSER to make the king,the queen and the horse.I imported these
models in MAX and I modified these models in MAX during a long time.
       Then, I used 3DSMAX modelers (primitives,splines and nurbs) for the other
things.I played a very long time with the lights in MAX (there are around 10
lights in the scene) because I wanted a dramatic effect.At last, I put a
little,but just a little of refraction on the chessboard.
       I have used photoshop only for the size of the picture.
