HARDWARE USED: Pentium 90MHz with 16MB of ram and a 2MB video card IMAGE DESCRIPTION: On a wonderous winter day at a cottage in the countryside a brother and sister were enjoying the first snowfall of the year. They decided to build a snowman, but they could not agree upon any of the detials. Their disagreement led each of them to make their own snowman. Feverishly they both worked, and hours later their masterpieces were complete, and they were ready for a nap. As they went inside to huddle by the warm fire with some hot cocoa, the snow began to fall again, but this was no ordinary snowfall...this was magic snow; magic snow that was about to bring two unknowing sweethearts together for the first time... DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Everything in this image was done with POV-Ray. The Snow_Field image was created using the height_field example in the tutorial, I then brought that image into Photopaint and edited it a bit then used it as the ground snow by scaling it and making the pigment a bright white. Everything else is just an object created in the program. Most objects were csg objects. All of the textures and pigments were from the include files, slight transformations of those textures or textures that I created.
