Great image! very oppressing.
This would make a perfect Tribes map, it just wouldn't be that good
looking anymore ... too bad.

From denny1@home.com:
The planets turned out well, just barely visible.

I'm undecided if the bridge adds to the scene, or distracts from it.
The bridge itself is well done, I'm just not sure if it complements
the main elements of the rest of the scene.

Very nice colors!

I would not want to sound obtrusive but you as an undergraduate student, you most certainly have more time than any of us out there with a job to feed ourselves. Well, that's how I see my life anyway, I think I had a lot more time in my hands when I was a student under grad or not.
I like the maze like 'ground' in fromt of the fortress.

From shipbrk@gate.net:
Very nice, reminds me of the science fiction artwork of Stewart Cowley. The
planets are perfect, very subtle.

From ethelm@bigfoot.com:
A nice image . The fortress is in the style of the SF artist
Foss , with the impression of great size . However the
composition might have been better with a different
camera position so that the image was less symmetrical
.Otherwise well done .

I like it. Simple is often better, but few people can pull simple yet
elegant off. Planets
look a little too big (or too close) but that's just my feeling. The bridge
and obelisks give
a good feeling of how large the castle is.

From clem@dhol.com:
The planets are nice, but with this camera angle I
wouldn't have known what the maze was without the
text file. The castle needs more detail.

From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
Looks great, like a classic SF painting. Mist, clouds, foreground detail, all
good. Only really hurt by the apparent simplicity of the modelling, although
artistically it's really very nice.

From peter@table76.demon.co.uk:
I don't know if you were aiming for a Chris Foss-style image, but I think you
got one. (This is a good thing, IMHO.)

A futuristic stronghold with strongly medieval features and wide open to air attack. Perspective of the scene when the green rectangles are identified as windown and there are clouds between the castle and the pov.
