===== From brendthess@aol.com: max_trace_level needs to be upped to correct the black areas in the pyramid of spheres. Sphere layers do not appear to touch each other - is this intentional? ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: HF is quite 'polygon-ated' needs to be smoothed. Very simplistic picture. ===== From mriser@datacomm.ch: The background sky looks somewhat loosy, some clouds would be good there. ===== From sdevet@istar.ca: This pic looks much nicer in the thumbnail than in full screen. This makes me think that some blurring effect, such as focal blur, area lights, fog, media, etc would have aided it greatly. Image needs to be a little more subtle. Nice composition! ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: I'm not sure if the simple, almost-cartoony textures were what you wanted; if so, a sky_sphere texture and waves on the water would be missing the point. It looks as if you do have a gradient texture on the hills. ===== From file: Notable for lighting ===== From file: Notable for lighting ===== From file: This is a pretty image, but very predicatble. Also, the jpg compression is quite bad around the mountains. An image like this is a simple excercise. Also, it would appear that the black "space" of the scene is reflecting in the lower spheres of the pyramid. This disrupts the picture. The texture for the spheres is not interesting at all. A good starter scene, but nothing unbelievable.
