Small nit to pick: the energy beams look like glass pipes.  Some kind of
extremely subtle "Stairway to Heaven" reference there or something?

heightfield to make 'em.

I like being able to see the structures in the far distance.  Image needs
anti-aliasing.  Btw, it's spelled like this: "copyright".

I notice that you can see right through the mountains.. was this
intentional, or a factor of an HF that didn't go to 0 at the edges?
