I would like to see more detail in the buildings.  I see 
you had the same problem with your rigging as I had with 
the vertical cables in my Golden Gate image.  Thin, 
nearly vertical, lines trace broken while the ones at an 
angle are just fine.  I like the idea of creating a real 
cloud instead of texture on a sphere.  This could lead to 
general cloud macro include file?

Good waves and very good ship.  Just enough details to be believable w/o
overbearing senses.

Nice layout of pic elements.

Clouds are MUCH better than I can do, but still need some work.

What about some ocean foam?

The buildings are not detailed enough -- they look like 
they were carved from single blocks of wood and then 
painted.  Overall, the main problem with this image is the 
lack of surface imperfections on objects like the 
lighthouse.

Arresting image, very Turneresque.  The water is a bit 
vitreous.  It needs more spray and froth and small scale 
detail.  The clouds are interesting, but grainy.  The spray 
thrown up by the ship looks more like smoke.  I really like 
the ship, but perhaps it steals too much thunder from the 
nominal subject.  Very good image despite the gripes.
