JPGFILE: ac_arf.jpg ZIPFILE: ac_arf.zip RENDERER USED: POV-Ray 3.1 TOOLS USED: Moray (initial room layout) ACDSee32 (jpeg conversion) Tape measure. RENDER TIME: 4 hours, 47 minutes 21 seconds HARDWARE USED: HP Pavillion 4411, 64MB IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Be gentle- this is my first entry. Since I don't own a copy of Poser, human forms are mighty hard to render. I was looking for a scene with no people in it, like a patient's view of dental tools from hell. But then... I chanced to see a show "Crimes of the 20th century" talking about how the body of a woman was found in (several) parcels at a British railway station. Police assumed she was the victim of a back street abortion, that "went wrong". A stack of bleeding parcels would be meaningless without the background story. What about the abortion? That got me thinking about rusty coathangers, and the result is the image I submitted. I've removed a mobile phone (dialling 911) and a Gin bottle, as it made the scene too cluttered. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Basic room layout was done with Moray. That's why Z is up, instead of Y (grrr). Final touches eg. macro for spiral on neck of coathanger were done in POV directly. Converted to JPG by ACDSee32. Wish I could remember where I found that spiral code- it saved a bucketload of space!
