Not Bad for using a lot of standard stuff. I know that wine cellars are
supposed to be dark but i think a little more light would have been better.

From timk@jtse.com:
Nice, spooky concept. But poor contrast. And poor lighting.

Way too dark

From ameede@madmac.com:
With the exception of the particular objects, the environment itself appears
flat. The composition, or layout of the artwork work well. The angle of
viewing I am not to crazy about, the monk figure does not come across as being
overwhelming or intimidating.

The textures of the stonework should have more dimension. Since you applied a
texture to the walls (rather than actually making them stick out) they look
like stone-colored wallpaper and lose the effect.

From dwallace@lynx.dac.neu.edu:
The ghost needs that something extra. Ragged cloak, faintly glowing aura, etc.

From tina@ripco.com:
What a very low ceiling. The bottles are a little too wide and tall for the
rest of the dimensions, it seems. Your monk maybe should either be more
solid (and have legs) or somewhat transparent. The stone texture seems
more real on the back wall than the side wall, somehow.

From ericf@foothill.net:
Although a clean, technically adept image, it seems to be missing some elements.
I wanted to see how this entity might cause a problem, other than hanging
around as spectral decoration. It also seems rather empty for a wine cellar, I
would expect more bottles.

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
The floating spectre is nicely done.
Hey, I don't see any corks -- are all the bottles empty?
Why do all the stones have the same shadow? Because they are just an
image-map.
Lighting is a little too flat, dim.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
This is a well laid out image. Though you mainly used standard textures from
S3D they seem to have worked well. The monks clothing and sword look good.
The wine bottles could do with being darker, they seem to glow a bit. The
lighting is the only other thing that really needs work though the flame looks
quite good as it is. I'd suggest that you do some investigation and
experimentation into the S3D primitives, it may save you a lot of work in
sPatch in future works.
