IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 
    This image is my version of the HellRaiser Cube from the
movie of the same name. The picture shows several chains extended out of the
cube and attaching to the table top.  The cube itself is "nailed" down using
lots of nails around the edge.  The image was designed to look creepy, pay
homage to the movie and give a symbolic look of pain being inflicted (using the
blood oozing from the wood) rather than anything overt.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 
    The image was created using height
fields for the metallic sides with a dark wood surrounding them.  The chains
were created using the chain11.inc file (look for chain11.zip for the entire
source code.  I did not include that to reduce the size of the archive.)  The
glows (both blue surrounding the cube and the small black ones around each
chain) were simple media effects.   I used a camera with a short focal length
and slightly wide angle to make the image appear small and close up.  I also
used the +QR to render the image with radiosity turned on to improve the
overall look.
