I feel the scene is just a little too light.  Ive been in some of the restrooms in British rail stations.

The lighting could be alot better. Remember that the mirror over the sink, in
a real bathroom, will reflect any light sources, producing multiple shadows.

The contrast of the scene draws the eye to the sink, which is itself relatively
bare of significance.

To add a type of social commentary about such a delicate situation as abortion is an excellent variation of a theme with horror.  I really like this type artistic approach to artmaking it shows that there is more to the concept of horror other than ghouls and gobblins, or throat slashings.  Regarding the image as an collection of objects there is just enough there to understand what you are representing.  The ambient lighting however looks like a camera with a flash attachment took the picture. The wall area just to the right of the mirror is so bright that it hinders the viewers attention from the center where all the action has taken place.

Very controversial image (as I'm sure others will mention). 
However, it certainly fits within the theme and would 
certainly be viewed as a horrifying situation to anyone, 
regardless of their stand on the abortion issue. Technical 
advice... Reduce the harshness of the light on the right 
of the scene, and use radiosity.

I rated this low on the artistic and concept areas because it felt like it didn't quite fit.  It elicited a reaction from me, but more on an empathic level, of not wanting to see such evidence of injury to someone.  Technically it feels very real.

Great looking image, but for me the image has to tell me the story or it's no
good, and this one didn't tell me the story, but it is well put together and
a lot of attention has been paid to detail.  You're one of the few in this round that's bothered to use textures and use them to good effect.
