===== From cdsi26@bupers.navy.mil: Working in the Army's Night Vision Labs I can really appreciate the math formula concept. Very good render and history lesson in one. Thanks ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Creative perspective. ===== From timk@jtse.com: I love the guy hanging from the curve. The scene looks a bit crowded. It's hard to focus on any one symbol. And there's precious little contrast. ===== From ameede@madmac.com: No the image is not realistic, and if the human figure had been created realistically this would have added to the image tenfold. I do not know how the pumpkin relates to the work other than a typical relationship between horror and Holloween. Your mathematical prowess shows in your composition since you have laid out even your non-mathematical imagery in a linear fashion. So why do I enjoy this work so much? Well I've been reviewing variations of a theme as it relates to horror. This is the first image I've encountered thus far that not only employs the variation but a stylistic variation as well. It is surrealistic for me. I like the addition. However, one further points needs to made. This linear layout of things forces the viewer right off to the right side of the image. Perhaps next time you can somehow, someway, bring the reading of the scene back into the foreground. ameede@madmac.com ===== From jake@snafu.de: hehe. We all remember ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: I am not really convinced this formula scared you THAT bad but I enjoyed this bemused approach to the topic. I assume that successfully rendering this curve has driven this skeleton from your closet? ===== From tina@ripco.com: Math never scared me that much. :) ===== From ericf@foothill.net: This is a simple image, but a well done one. With the equations, the endless grid plane, the stars, it evokes images from the old classic television show, "The Twilight Zone". The only real quibble I have is the pumpkin. I don't think it fits with the rest of the image. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Rather ethereal concept of horror. I like the green grid, providing a foundation for the image. ===== From mark.wagner17@gte.net: This image would be much better with just the equation, the graph, and the hanging figure. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Guess you weren't going for the realistic look. This picture doesn't make any statement or evoke emotion or wonder, it's just a mixture of computer generated objects.
