===== From cdsi26@bupers.navy.mil: You would have been a very likely contender had you told us about the tools and processes to create this fine image. ===== From daffyduckx@hotmail.com: Nice ghosts. A beautiful combination of visibility and translucence. There's a sense of fluttery motion to them. ===== From timk@jtse.com: Okay lighting. Nice texture. Nice ghosts. Nice contrast. But why is the moon so big? And shadows should fall away from the two obvious light sources: the moon and the tower. ===== From ameede@madmac.com: I like the feel of this piece, I mean I could be there and if I saw this happening I wouldn't run away, I would just hang out and watch. In other words, the environment looks comfortable. Perhaps it is the bedsheets the ghost are wearing :-}. The lighthouse fits in very well with the background hills, yet the ground on which the lighthouse sits on is to stark. It does not fit in with the hills. The amount of detail in the hills is appropriate for that distance. If this is accepted then why does the moon show more detail than the hills? I do like the artwork there are smooth transitions between the foreground, middle ground, and background. Again, the scene appears peaceful. ameede@madmac.om ===== From robertsc@accn.org: Good textures and ghosts, good moon and reflection. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: This picture has some wonderful aspects, the cool tones, restrained use of texture, the tactile effect of the fence points in the forground, and the subtle shock of the cross juxtaposed with the moon-reflection. ===== From dwallace@lynx.dac.neu.edu: The graves needed detail... otherwise excellent ===== From tina@ripco.com: Nice fence posts. I like the texturing on the arm, very dead body. The cemetery seems laid out strangely. ===== From ericf@foothill.net: This is a pretty well done scene, especially the hand coming from the ground. The only quibble I have is the lighthouse. I couldn't figure out what the 'ring' around it was, until I realized it was the reflection of the lighthouse in the water. Somehow it just didn't look right. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Interesting ghostlike imagery. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: This looks really good, but you don't say what software you used and no explanation of how it was made, and no source file. ===== From file: Impressed by the fence and the water. The moon, however, seems a bit close, like it is ready to drop into the water. Notable for textures
