===== From markham@softcom.net: Its good to see there are some of us that will still utilize the POV-RAY utility as much as possible. I still could not get what the meaning of the horror was though. ===== From cdsi26@bupers.navy.mil: Couldn't make out the picture so I guess the images is lost on me. Good leave it to beaver kind of house. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Sorry it was too subtle for me. ===== From timk@jtse.com: I'm sorry. I still don't get it. ===== From dlauer@optonline.net: I totally missed the point, I guess I don't get extra points. ===== From soulmates@gci.net: I'm afraid your subtlety will likely be lost on most judges. I had to zoom in to clearly see the face on the left wall. As for the painting. I can't get enough detail on it to be able to identify it. ===== From tina@ripco.com: Everything seems very foreshortened. Also very blocky. I cannot see the picture clearly, so if it was meant to be the horror, I guess I'm missing it. I like subtle. This is so subtle that I can't decipher it. I like the mantel but the bricks on the fireplace are too crisp and bright. The rocking-chair is great and I like the bookshelves. Just what is that thing on the wall on the left? A face? Maybe that's the horror? Still too subtle. ===== From rbenjam2@tampabay.rr.com: Unfortunately, I can't make out the painting on the wall. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: "Extra points" for anyone who can identify the painting, and therefore understand the connection between this image and "horror"? Sorry. I'm totally clueless. How about "less points" for submitting an off-topic image? Oh, excuse me, there it is. The face in the wall. Boo. I think the image would be more effective if you found a way to make the terror immediately visible to the viewer, but not to the occupants of the room. This introduces a cinematic energy where the viewer wants to shout, "look out! It's right behind you!" to the unsuspecting family. ===== From mark.wagner17@gte.net: This image is much too subtle ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: No textures, no story, no horror, no points.
