I think the overall concept was good, I think it might have benefited from being placed in some kind of context.  Near a river, schoolyard, even a factory back lot.  They don't seem nearly as dangerous in some dark room off by themselves.

Some nice texture work, even though you did the textures in a paint package, 
they work well.  Where the liquid coming out of the can meets the liquid on
the ground could have been much better, so could the textures on the cans, 
they look a bit too clean. Some bubbles in the liquid on the ground would look good too.  A larger resolution image would have been preferable.
