I love the bare, lonely feel of the scene. A wider image, with more empty
space, might enhance that effect.

A really striking, simple and all round good looking image.  The fake radiosity works well, so does that scanned carpet texture on the bunnie. 
It could maybe do with something just to add a bit of interest like a visible light source, or a chain or other torture like artifact on the floor off to one side of the image.
