I would rather use Autocad with a keyboard than see this version of reality come to life.  I agree with you on the textures.  The shiny glow on all of the objects lends this scene a catoonish effect.  Thanks for the  scare.

This looks good and is a good interpretation of the theme.  It needs area lights, and yes it does need some more work on some of the textures.  A few CDs scattered around would be good.  I like the way you've put your name on the pad and your web address up on the notice board. Desperate need of area lights.
