IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 


This image was inspired by recent events in my life.  After I committed a crime
and went to court, I realized that what the court does is final, but what I am
doing to myself is not and never will be.  I am trying myself, there is no
final "case closed," ever.  The horror is judging yourself, especially after
you know you have done something that is not right.  Will I be able to live
with myself?  Will my life ever be the same?  This is the horror that comes
before, during, and after the actual trial.

This image may not inspire feelings of terror in everyone, but I have a hard
time looking at it, mostly because, it is so familiar, and it reminds me of
what I did.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

Trial and error.  (No pun intended)

I used sPatch to create everything, then PoV-Ray to put it together.  I managed
to get the reflection to work properly only by placing my objects and
height-field, then adjusting randomly until they came into focus.
