===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: Wow, exquisite modeling layout. The colors are just right and all the details are there...down to the smallest petal;) My only complaint would be that the drab gray soil is too noticable and could have been substitued for with a more brownish/mossy/soil texture. Good idea for a signature include. One of my top 10. A definite winner. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: I'm shocked at how realistic this image is. ===== From YaelParis@operamail.com: Very, very nice picture. I won't be surprised if you win this round ! The only thing that annoyed me (and I spend a lot of time on your pic ;-) are the branchs of the trees. I found them I bit too straigth. ===== From rbyman@rockies.net: A beautiful garden. the layout is impeccable. Very nice fountain. The fallen petals are the crowning touch. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Nice bricks ===== From kantell@qup.com: Your use of colors here is fantastic. A very soothing picture! ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Looks like a postcard from the Georga, USA, Coast. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: Beautiful. A little bright? A little wear and tear on the path might be nice ===== From ameede@madmac.com: The only reasons for not maxing out all the scores is due to the mimetic nature of your work. Do not misunderstand me stark realism, symmetry of design, and your devotion to creating a traditional garden layout are highly commendable and has its place in the artworld. You did a great job! However with your highly developed skills, or rather your ability to use your tools (computer and programs) I would have liked to experience something about your garden, or even gardens in general, something special that I would have missed if not for your pointing it out to me. ameede@madmac.com ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Yes, water with the colour of water ! And a very nive fountain. Pity the branches are so straight. Very nice abundance of flowers, I really love it. Very good realism in the colours and shades. I like the sig. Despite its planned irregularity, the pavement looks too neat (the straight bit). The roundy bit of pavement looks much better. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Very nice! Colors are beatiful, light but very apropiated. All the scene has a "cold" nice ambient. Shadows (sun placement) are great, and the petals on the floor is the touch. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Technical - Wow! Excellent !Full marks! Artistic - very nice use of colours especially pastel shades, nicely balance picture - Full Marks! Excellent! Theme - Full Marks! A balanced picture totally conveying the theme ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: This is absolutely gorgeous. Wonderfully detailed flowers and cherry blossom trees. The path, the fountain, lighting, all great. To offer a couple of minor suggestions, the background is a bit lifeless - I can't quite tell if it's meant to be an ocean but it looks like it. Perhaps a small yacht out there or something? Or some birds in the air. I don't know, it needs... something. And the branches on the trees seem a bit straight and obviously radiating from a point - your macro could probably use a little tuning. But apart from these minor quibbles, this is a fantastic image.
