A little too simplistic and child-like for my taste, even if that is the effect
you were going for. On the plus side, all the colors are there...

Oh and a general artistic rule-of-thumb is that colors usually get more darker
and the closer they become and lighter the farther away they get. It's too
obvious there is a light source right on top of the flower patch...even though
the sun is to the distant left. Hmmmm...and should the sun have a shadow on
it? I don't remember giving my sun a shadow when I was four;)

I liked the cartoony, whimsicle quality of the clouds and
sun.

From YaelParis@operamail.com:
pretty image, sadly the raytracing method remove all the poetry of your
interpretation.

I like the attempt to do a simple kid-like image, especially the sun and
clouds!

I understand what you are trying to do but when I look at it all I can think of
is that I am waiting for Mario or Luigi to start hopping onto the screen

A great concept, and I *do* like the cloud!

From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk:
I like this, and as I'm not scoring for technique it rates quite high. A
clear concept executed consistently and well. I wondered if the cloud and
sun might not be better bigger?

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
What I like here : the cloud is just fnatastic.
The sun is pretty good as well, but not as good.
I also like the little details like the sign and the imprint on the watering
can.
I'm not sure I like the perfectly aligned rows though, or the perfectly
centered
pitch.
The shadow would have been much nicer if it came from the sun, yes it can be
done and still have a sun that looks pretty similar to what it is now.

Technical - not to complex
Artistic - cute, nicely balanced
Theme - definitely on topic,

From the text file it seems you were aiming at a child-like image, and I have
to say in that context this is a very successful image. Unfortunately, this is
also clearly not a difficult image technically.

I liked the unusual child-like approach.
