Seriously, if you want to do something rather bare with only one object in the
picture, you'd better work a lot more on that object and make it really look
tremendously better than any object you may put in a multi object scene.
One thing in that respect might have dramatically enhanced your image : the use
of a height field for the snow rather than that plain plane.
Strangely enough the effect would show more in the distance I guess.
