cool. I like that story

I feel this is too loosley connected to the theme

There shall come soft rains...

Haunting. I would break at least one chain on those
swings, too. Very scary piece

From chris@bluelectrode.com:
Morbid interpretation, but original. Technically speaking, if the nuclear blast
had been strong enough to vaporize the bodies it probably would have blown away
the house as well...nit-picking, sorry. Overall, not bad.

Conceptually high... would the bricks look like that when everything around them
are burnt to crisp.... scorched perhaps.

From taymac@peaknet.net:
great work, fits the theme ,

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
Sad, but could still happen, although probalby not quite the way you depict it.
It makes it rather unique.

From jouni@mikrobitti.fi:
Nice dramatic effect with the apocalyptic sky and the blast traces
on the wall. The wall and the fire inside look a bit flat. Must
wonder, how can that swingy-thingy take a nuclear blast and still
stand, polished and shining as it had just been swept with the
famous Phong Wax?

=====
From StephenF@whoever.com:
I love the interpretation of theme in this one, and the
sky looks like what I imagine a "nuclear sky" would look
like. The fire is nice-looking, too. Overall, though, the
objects look pretty simple, and the result was an
average techinical score which lowers the combined
score quite a bit. A good, imaginative, and pretty
scene, though.

From clem@dhol.org:
Good idea and dramatic scene, but with such a blast how
did the wall remain standing and why were the swings not
destroyed? Perhaps the tree would be better if the whole
thing was burning. Pretty good fire. The inverse shadows
are very well done.

From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
An eerie and evocative image. A very nice sky and some good flames, but the
rest of the modelling seems straightforward. It would be nice to see some
more ruins in the background, which seems quite empty.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
This has a really ghostly feel to it. Some description about how you created
the image would have been good.
