I think it would be better with the train going the other
way, into the ruins with the front decaying. The image
just needs more work in the small details to bring it to
life.

I don't feel that it is off topic at all...just alittle plain

The smoke is just the thing.
But it looks odd the way the trrain has just rolled over emptyness ... until you
read the accompanying text.
An interesting concept, but not quite meeting my expectations in terms of
realisation.

Interesting and a highly artistic grasp of the subject, with all
those embedded meanings and catches. A well-modelled train, works
nicely in that size (although the hideous purple you use... <sigh> ;-))

Unfortunately, as you thought yourself, at least for me that's
pushing the topic too far. A partially transparent bridge just
doesn't cut the mustard, even after I got the clue about your
hidden message. Slightly more conservative mountain range might've
added a bit realism to the scene, as well as some intricate details
of the bridge. Even Victorian railway bridges aren't that simple. :-)

A good image, hate to score this one down. I hope you'll participate
another round with a more suitable interpretation!

I do like the concept of this picture but am not sure how
well it comes across when just viewing the picture itself.
I like the train a lot and the sky is interesting.

Great image but off topic. There's some really nice artistic touches to
this but it's just off topic. Hope to see more of your work in future
rounds.
