===== From ekaiser@camden.tds.net: one of the better atlntean images ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Yours is better than mine. (Yor tools are a bit more costly). I really like this one. I think the idea of disturbing the light definately worked for you. ===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: Makes me want to go play X-COM 2 again :) ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice atmospheric affects for the water.... ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Very nice indeed! Excellent modelling, good objects and a delicate balance between background and other obs. The seabeings are placed well, and the diversity of them gives this an extra artistic touch. As my mind won't let you go out without something negative, here goes: Taking into account the movements of sea water, it's fairly surprising that the sand hasn't buried the buildings more. And another point: if the Atlanteans were a technologically sophisticated race, one could wonder why their buildings are made of such primitive materials. Though I have to admit that the materials you used suited the scene perfectly... Overall, my absolute favorite so far. Way to go, Michael! ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: This is a nice picture, especially because it makes you feel like you are underwater. The sharks and fish are good, and I like the fact that there are so many different elements used in the scene. For some reason, though, this one just doesn't quite do it for me... I think maybe just because the idea of underwater ruins doesn't seem that original. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Probably the best underwater image this round - the fog effect works briliantly to give the impression of looking through a volume of water. The modelling looks great, and there is plenty of detail to look at. Nicely balanced composition, and subtle but interesting colour variations help this avoid the "monochrome" effect a lot of underwater images have. The effect of the sand half-burying some objects is well done. Basically excellent attention to the details has turned out a great image. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Text file too long. Great looking image, but some of the objects could do with looking a lot more warn and damaged, for example the roof on that building would have holes in it and probably have barnacles and corals growing on it. The gates burried in the sea bed look good. ===== From file: Notable for composition
