===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Just doesnt do it for me. the best thing about this image is the moss on the plane and the lighting. I would assume the water to be deeper than you are showing because the mountians slope right to the waterline. ===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: Beautiful. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice idea... Nice atomsphere and water.... wished you had created the model of the plane. Spectacular plants.... ===== From mibmlr@hotmail.com: Shouldn't the plane show some sort of structural damage. Also It looks like it is floating on top of the water. The rest of the image is Fantastic! ===== From sammy@cube.net: Why does the plane float? ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: A bit simplistic. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: There's a lot of good in this one: the sky, the horizon, the plants on the front and overall composition. And for probably the first time so far in this round, fairly realistic water. Slightly less steep mountains would've probably looked better, and having the main model (the plane) a bit larger would've made the right side of the image a bit more alive. Too bad the plane wasn't your own :-( ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Very nice. Skillful. Not only is the image just beautiful to look at, it induces a quirky contemplation of ruin, exotica, and a sense of being stranded. This recalls, in spirit, all those 18th or 19th century romantic lanscapes with their obligatory decorative ruins. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Very pretty... I gave it high marks for artistic. Nice use of texture on the plane. I'm not sure about the use of orange in the sky, though. Also, I have to ask... how deep is the water supposed to be? Unless the water is less than a foot deep, it seems like a plane so covered with moss would be underneath it. This is nit-picking, though... a good picture overall. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Very original idea. Great composition and amazing ambient. Really good pic... ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: This is a nice image. I see Vue d'Esprit does great skies, landscapes, and water! The plant growth on the plane is well done. About the only thing I can suggest is showing a closer view of the ruined plane, so it makes a stronger impression on the viewer. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Great water and nice fog, the mountains look good too. Shame you didn't make your own plane, it's a very simple shape, and you've covered it in a good texture, but it could do with having some holes in it and surely it would ahve sunk a bit by now.
