===== From ekaiser@camden.tds.net: cool. The textures and atmosphere need some tweeking. This would be awesome with some radiosity ===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: Cool, great interpretation. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: I liked your use of color and light..footprints in the sand... although the sand wasn't too realistic. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: I like the idea of a script you work to. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Impressive modeling on the astronauts in the foreground! I wish you had given the buildings the same effort, as they pale in contrast to the human figures. Not that they'd be bad, but the level of detail simply isn't the same. I'd also give the ground a bit more effort, especially in the foreground. That clean linear striping isn't too believable, as other elements in the image indicate that surface wind does exist. Extra artistic points come from well-designed and executed details: the barely visible twin moons, the piles of sand collected against the buildings' walls etc. Good work, Patrick! ===== From jd@surveyor.in-berlin.de: Some of the Aliens are really funny. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Good use of color and shadows, and the figures look good. I also like the amount of detail in the city. To me, though, there's nothing in the scene itself that implies the city is deserted or abandoned, so I don't feel it fit the topic very well. ===== From clem@dhol.org: The structures are well modelled, but the "explorers" are too cartoony and could be omitted without loss. Marginally on topic. The color scheme is quite monochrome, but effective. The moons in the sky could be a bit more visible. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: This is a spaceman image.
