===== From ekaiser@camden.tds.net: nice legs ===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: Normally I detest abstracts and all that they stand for, and even though yours hardly fits the theme it's not too bad. A great showpiece for sPatch, but the lose connection to theme hurts this otherwise good image. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: I liked the image, a bit abstract but hints of reality showing through. the only problem for me was that the ruins is concept seemed weak. ===== From taymac@peaknet.net: great work, i like the subtle but rich colors , blended with the surreal objects that seem to invite the viewer in... ===== From tlyons@gnn.com: just odd 8) ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: The white of the egg is very well done, the eye looks cool and the yoke in the middle as well. But what the hell is this ? A bit Off-Topic IMHO. Good try though. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Very nice indeed! Technically and artistically a high-quality entry, the surrealistic objects you used are interesting and well-modeled. All the objects work well together. The only serious complaint comes from the lacking ruins theme. Agreed, there are a lot of elements which could be considered to represent the ruins, but it remains pretty abstract at least to me. A good image description would've made me see more and thus give a better score. "So, the moral of the story..." ;-) ===== From roms@zebra3.net: Ruins :-/ ===== From webmaster@freegraphics.com: One of my favorites this round -- very nice use of color and a most intriguing concept. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Beautiful, unique, twisted scene which would have been one of my top three picks if it were entered into a competition without a topic... a definite work of art, though. ===== From c.bunker@plymouth.ac.uk: surreal ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Welcome back, Gena! Strange return, indeed... ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: This is a beautiful, surreal, artistic image, which obviously took a good deal of work. I'm just mystified as to how it represents ruins. I expected some explanation of the imagery in the text file, but seeing as there isn't any it makes it very hard to assign a theme mark. :-( A shame, because this is definitely above average in the other two marking categories. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Some nice objects and textures, but it doesn't seem to mirror the topic in any way. Hope to see more of your work in future rounds. ===== From file: Notable for originality ===== From file: Notable for textures, originality
