===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: I have the same problem moving objects. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Just to much of the same color (green) ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Yes, why not ? I don't like the sky there. The stone texture is pretty nice, but one sees too much of it in this scene. Some variety would be welcome. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: It's good to see that good old POV hand-writing still attracts people, after all those images with admittedly great Poser etc. models :-) I would still tune down the highlighting on the pillars, especially if there's no visible reason why ruins should shine that intensively. You could've used a bit more space, too. A slightly more gentle JPEG compression would have better preserved the high-contrast edges. Especially the tops of the pillars have lost something to the artifacts. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Good use of color and texture... I like the way the foreground is primarily green and the background is mainly violet. The JPG compression really shows up in the sky, though, and hurts the overall impact of the picture. ===== From deathmacabre@fcmail.com: ruins kind of brings to mind dirt and decay, but otherwise this pic is good! ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: That's a lovely marble texture. It would be nice to see some more different textures though. Also, you should translate your textures by different amounts on otherwise identical objects, to avoid the repetitions which can be seen in the columns. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Quite a strange image, good to see something totally different. Text file too long. ===== From file: A nice first entry. (I haven't made any yet.) The rotation is difficult. If you build your model centered at 0,0,0 then rotate then translate that should help a lot.
