Triangle mesh grass would've worked better, it would've looked just as good and taken far less memory. With a little more work it could be a very nice picture

From jgrimbert@atos-group.com:
The fog is interesting.
It's a shame that I found the grass out of scale.

I like moody pictures so there is a plus for you. I think you already know the grass is too big. The other more subtle point would be the Stones are too perfect...no wear and tear so to speak.

From agage@csee.usf.edu:
Nice atmosphere, though it could maybe use some lettering or weathering
on the stones

From chris@bluelectrode.com:
You overdid yourself on the fog...but the grass affect is interesting. Overall, I'd say it doesn't look quite "ruined," just a normal run-of-the-mill graveyard.

From white@rational.com:
The grass is kinda funky.

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:
Nice atmosphere but it lacks concept... the models needed more detail.... just not textures to make up the difference. The grass needs rethinking.

It's funny to see this picture there in this interpretation of the theme,
because there is quite a bit of controversy in Ireland at present over derelict
graveyards.

From jouni@mikrobitti.fi:
An interesting atmospheric effect, with the strikingly white fog
flowing everywhere. A lot of light for such a foggy scene. The
ground would've needed more work, now it's just some green mass.
Too bad you didn't have more memory available, I think a good
bunch of additional grass blades would've also been a good idea.
Such a scanty vegetation looks a bit odd, especially when the
grass blades are longer than what they naturally should be (compared
to the gravestones).

Some crumbled stone and similar effects would've contributed more to
the topic-wise aspect of the image. It's a ruin in it's own way, but
a quick glance shows a graveyard picture, not much else.

From StephenF@whoever.com:
The tombstones and crosses look fairly simple but nice.
I also like the effect the mist adds to the overall feel of
the picture. The grass is interesting, but not very
realistic, I'm afraid, and I think overall this could be a
pretty good picture if more work were put into making all
the elements more realistic-looking.

You need some better grass, and what's that green stuff on the ground between
the blades of grass, looks like chemical polution in the soil, it's a wonder
theose burried havn't got up and started walking around.
The grave stones are great, maybe a bit too much fog, and I've already mentioned
the ground.
