===== From loomsbury@yahoo.com: I don't like the way this looks. You could have used a texture for the windows instead of seperate objects. I don't really like the lane dividers leading to it. Detail would be nice. Perhaps some buildings or something beside the road leading to the city. Also, the sky looks wrong. I do like the reflection of the windows though. ===== From scarmig@ohmss.com: I like the contrast of color you have in these, although the orange windows all look almost the same. The road stripe is distracting from the rest of the picture. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: I noticed a bluish pink reflection in the buildings it reminded me of a late sunset a beautiful effect. Your lighting is perfect in its ambience and luminosity. The windows look like there are lights on the inside. The road I think ruins the scene I would have killed the road and moved the camera angle up. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Wow... too many lights. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: I loved this. Very dramatic. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Kinda nice in a comic-book style sort of way, but too basic if you're going for something realistic. Could look good if used as a distant background, maybe? ===== From tonyv@iafrica.com: This is the type of picture that makes the wallpaper for millions of Windows PCs around the world. Lovely eye-candy. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Having had to scroll this on my screen to see it all, I can say it looks much better with the road at the bottom cropped off. Artistically this is quite a nice image, with the glowing colours and striking geometric patterns. Unfortunately for the competition, it's also fairly simplistic in modelling with a lot of repetition, and doesn't really convey the human face of the city. ===== From file: nice idea, but a bit "empty" Notable for originality
