From loomsbury@yahoo.com:
This looks pretty good. Why are all of the pieces of paper airborne at the same
time? I like the texture on the wall and sidewalk, but the street needs
something.

From tony@j4tb.com:
The objects in this scene look very good and natural. The porch lighting is
among the most realistic I've seen. One thing that would really improve this
image is a little phong on the car and maybe a glossier finish.

From whhale@nvl.army.mil:
I did have to adjust the brightness to get the details. I like the feel of
this.

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:

Very naturalistic look to it. The lighting was not quite right... for instance,
the car is in total darkness... seems inconsistent.

From mwsny001@mweb.co.za:
Very realistic image. I love the wind effect on the papers.

From tglover@nettally.com:
II like the lighting - thanks for the verbal description of
the correct gamma - made a world of difference!

From StephenF@whoever.com:
Nice scene... I like the tires stacked in the corner. Nice
graffiti too. The texture on the trash bags could use
some work, I think.

From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
Nice, dismal... captures the essence of the city. Effective and moody
lighting, with good modelling and texturing. The only thing I'd complain
about is the papers - they look too clean and white. Some newsprint and
dirt on them would be great. Otherwise, superb.

From file:
i do like the flapping papers, and the scene placement is very simplistic and
appealing. the only comment i have is to turn down the ambiance on the car, it
is distracting to the eye and creates a 'cartooney' feel. other than that, it
is a very good compisition.
