The lighting and work on the ground is better, but the 
warrior was better in the old image.  At least last time 
this image was a good fit with the topic.  Severe score

This is practically the same image as in the round "first encounter" in
november-december 1998. Although the details (mainly the textures) have
changed, it's by all means the same image.
The rules say that the image must be created specifically for the current
round and I think this is not. Sorry, but I have to score you low.

This is nice.  The figure in the foreground really looks 
good, especially the flow of the cape.  I think the giants 
should show up a little more than they do, though.  And 
the topic of wilderness seems to be little more than a 
footnote in this scene.

Technical - If you don't say how what was made, then it's hard judge fairly how
    much was original for this entry and what was a rework, as you admitted.
    Partial marks for candor and obviously hard work
Concept - this is a Battle or Horror scene, not a wilderness
