===== From tony@j4tb.com: Nice Trees. Intersting textures. ===== From javaearl@hotmail.com: Good cracked-floor pattern; really gives that wasteland effect. ===== From warp@iki.fi: The ground texture looks a bit odd. Perhaps the lines are too sharp and unnatural. Also the shading of the ground looks... well... non-existent. The mountains at the background look too small. ===== From luisvaloyes@malditasea.zzn.com: I really like the trees, but I think that the background terrain could be better ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: I like your efforts with the dried out ground, not extremely realistic, but impressive. Maybe the atmosphere sould be more dry/hot. Have you tried out Povray ? ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Odd ground, though I can't point what's so odd about it. Crackled interiors of an easter egg mayhaps? The contrast between the leaves and the remarkably smooth mountain range could use a boost. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: A good concept, and some nice work here. The trees look very nice, especially the one in the middle. The mountains look a bit too rounded, and the cracking on the ground, while on the right track, could use a little work. Good use of color as well. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Artistic - The central tree would look better if it were more centered in the picture Technical - Try to make the hills/mountains look a bit less like ant hills. Nice attempt on the dry parched land but I'm not sure it works very well on the slopes. Concept - A desolate version of a wilderness.
